The quality of electric energy in a low voltage public supply networks
Macoszek, Pavel ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Bok, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis contains four main chapters, which describe qualitative parameters of supply voltage and measurement and analysis received information. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. Characteristics of low voltage are described in the first chapter. Next chapter describes disturbing events, which have influence on quality supply voltage, reasons for their occurrence spreading in network, eventually arrangement leading to the disappearance of disturbing events on other electric appliances in network. Last theoretical chapter describes measuring instruments of supply voltage. The purpose of these theoretical parts is to introduce the reader into supply voltage quality issues and can be used for preparation of measurement and evaluation of acquired data under norm ČSN EN 50160 (Voltage characteristic of electricity supplied by public distribution systems). An analysis of real network is the last part of this thesis. There is applied acquired knowledge with the aim of analysis of real states of qualitative parameters of supply voltage in network.
Single railway electrification system design
Svoboda, Ondřej ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Pelc, Jiří (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The main topic of the thesis is the design of single-track electrification of a direct current system of 3 kV and an alternating current system of 5 kV 50 Hz and then economically evaluate it over a period of 30 years. The work deals with basic traction systems and also deals with the calculation of main parameters of electric trains. The thesis describes in detail the procedure for the design of the electrification of the track and a partial introduction to the simulation programs that were used for energy calculations.
Technical and economic comparison of electrical system designs of the hotel complex
Šedivý, Tomáš ; Jurák, Viktor (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to implement the designs of electrical power supply of a selected hotel complex and related technical and non-technical comparison. The subject is specifically to compare the power supply solution options through a centralized power centre, separate transformer stations located within the complex, for example in terms of the evaluation of active power losses on the line, investment and operating costs or in terms of space requirements, etc.
Design of switchgear system
Róža, Štefan ; Slavata, Petr (referee) ; Kadlec, Radim (advisor)
The thesis depicts the substation of low voltage switchgear design (nn) based on the back scheme of its connection. In the first part of the switchgear design nn the thesis deals with the adjustment of the back connection scheme and its analysis necessary for continuation of its switchgear designing. The main part of the thesis describes the scheme creation in a computer program, the implementation of certain computations requisite for safe and failure-free operation of the station. Here, the thesis points out the solutions of conditions, where the back scheme does not agree with the calculated results. The circuit was tested for voltage drop and load decomposition, symmetrical 3-phase short circuit and 1-phase short circuit. Further, the thesis dwells on the switchgear designing of low voltage switchgear. Finally was created in 3D visualization and treated bid for the material needed for the production of switchgear system, production of switchgear system and UPS.
Analysis and design of the replacement of the specific overhead line in distribution network
Račuch, Marek ; Bátora, Branislav (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the reconstruction of outdoor cables of low voltage distribution network in exchange for the cable line. It analyzes the important factors which are necessary for the preparation of the project documentation for the issue of the territorial consent. The thesis is divided into 4 main chapters. After the first chapter there is introduced chapter 2, which shows the differences between cable and outdoor cables with their advantages and disadvantages. Chapter 3 deals with the guiding principles for low-voltage cable design and the types of equipment needed for the proper operation of a particular distribution network while respecting the requirements of valid PNEs and ČSNs. Chapter 4 explains the chronology of the process leading to the formulation of a basic technical proposal, which is further addressed in Chapter 5, which deals with the complete formulation of the project documentation for the issue of territorial consent.
Increase the Rated Voltage of the Vehicle's Circuit - Study
Škrla, Milan ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Baccalaureate work themed Study voltage boost seat power control nets motor vehicles is document analysing actual fulfilment seat power control nets motor vehicles. S consideration on historical evolution, actual form and possible to dissemination seat power control nets are in work rectified conditions and groundwork for possibility heighten voltage rating. Size input appliances for purposes baccalaureate work were to be timed on motor - car lower middle class. Record from metering served for theoretic proposal source text system intended for increased surface explicit tension plumbed vehicles.
Simulation of circuit-breaker trip unit
Dostál, Lukáš ; Augusta, Zbyněk (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
Securing of electrical devices is important not only to protect against destruction under the effects of electric current, but also for protection of people or animals against electric shock. With increasing of living standards goes hand in hand increasing of the electricity consumption. Therefore In the grid of low voltage, there are increasing short-circuit currents. With improving technology is posed considerable demand on the performance, security and switching capacity of circuit breakers. This thesis is oriented on development of thermal and electromagnetic switch of circuit breaker on which is put a big demand in development of new types of circuit breakers. The thesis is interesting because of comprehensive use of circuits’ breakers since it can be used in AC and DC networks with frequency of 50 Hz and 400 Hz.
